I cannot be 100% certain when working in retail and e-commerce started to excite me. As a teenager I worked at Mervyn’s, the doomed retailer. I was good at what I did, but never could say that I loved it. Somewhere in between starting my own e-commerce companies, and taking one offline (Toasted Pixie) I discovered that the challenges selling physical products brings really get my wheels turning.
